Our bars are 100% Vegan, you are might be reading the story of recipe come from.
" I had to leave without having any of my personal belongings. The only exception was the bag of homemade Tsampa Power Bars that my dear mother so lovingly prepared. Traditionally, Tibetans prepare Tsampa mixed with butter, dried ground cheese and hot milk tea but as my mom knew I won’t have the luxury of hot tea on my journey through the high Himalayan mountains, she was wise enough to make some Bars of Tsampa mixed with above ingredients plus raisins and dried nuts for extra energy. Honestly, this bag of Tsampa Power Bars helped me and my fellow villagers, who trekked for more than 21 days over the treacherous Himalayan mountains, survive and reach India"
